This Scholastic Storybook Treasures title would make for a great Valentine's Day gift for your little ones. In addition, the stories offer a read-along feature, which I love, as it will help young readers learn to read and follow along. My daughter is able to sit and watch a few of the stories at a time and stay engaged, as they are short in length.

My husband loves being able to share his culture and language with them, through fun and educational films. Having a husband from El Salvador, we try to expose our daughters to multi-cultural books and movies, and I can't say enough about the Spanish versions of Scholastic Storybook Treasures titles I have viewed and shared with my children.

Each DVD is jam packed with short films, which are usually narrated by famous actors and actresses, and DVD features includes Spanish versions of some of the shorts. Being a mom, I am always on the lookout for great educational and fun DVDs to share with my daughter, and haven't found a Scholastic Storybook Treasures title I didn't like. My personal favorite is Chrysanthemum, which was narrated by Meryl Streep. My daughter just loves The Caterpillar and the Polliwog and Owen.
